Finest Kyle tucker. He is underrated, because he is in a stacked outfield. Finest Soto.

    Glitchy swing
Trust me this is the card you’re looking for.. plus you already have righty bats to platoon

As for Griffey it depends how close you are in that 10th inning program

All I've done so far for Griffey is miggy so I only have 20 done... so not very far at all

Besides the obvious ones mentioned here (Seager and Ruth are the first two I would go after), how far along are you in the Nationals team affinity? He may be expensive on the market, but between the conquest map and exchanges you could potentially get Soto for relatively cheap considering the fact that he is one of the best bats in the game. Grinding for him from scratch didn't make much of a dent in my overall stub count.

Also, I don't know if you work the market at all but I flipped my way to 99 Griffey Jr. yesterday and I already have more stubs than I had yesterday morning. Stubs are pretty easy to come by if you find a card moving at a high volume with a decent profit margin.

How much grinding would I need to do for soto?

All Morgan does is hit tanks vs righties. I love it because he has this quick swing while crowding the plate and the ball just looks awesome coming off his bat.

Are you starting from scratch? The conquest map gives you 30 points towards TA (plus you get packs from completing the map) and I think collecting all Nationals gives you another 10. Those maps go pretty quick since I think there are only four teams on them. I believe there are also moments and missions you can complete for points, but I didn't feel like wasting my time so I just went right for the exchanges. I got the whole thing done in an afternoon.

Regarding the exchanges, it's a matter of time vs. cost. You could save some stubs if you go for high level bronzes or silvers, but I wanted to get it done fast so I loaded up on golds from division rivals. You could complete each exchange with 3 84's and a silver, or 4 83's and three commons.

If you do the math it may seem like a lot of stubs, but you make back a decent chunk of stubs and cards (some of which are sellable) as you progress through the Team Affinity. Like I said, if cost is a concern you could go with bronzes and silvers, but putting in all of those orders is tedious work.

Not mentioned was Christian Yelich. If you can either grind the extreme conquest or do the showdown extreme he's very good.

Also, there's not a lot of mention of good cheap switch hitters. That gets you a lefty when needed and many of them are extremely underrated.

Posada, Albies, POTM Jram, Mondesi and Mantle are all fantastic. Also, that 94 chipper has come down a lot in price because of the 10th inning program. Mantle is the only one who is at all pricey, the rest are free or sub 20k.

I'll also hop aboard the Joe Morgan train. He is my starting 2B vs. RHP.
Guy does nothing but hit bombs and get on base.

Lou Gehrig is free. See player program. But he is very hard to get unless you are very good at the game.

    He’s worth every broken controller

I'll echo a lot of what's already been mentioned. Joe Morgan has a quick, glitchy swing. His program is pretty easy. Juan Soto from the Nats TA4 is one of my favorite cards in the game. Corey Seager in the Postseason moments is excellent as well, plus you unlock so many goodies along the way. Kiermaier is really fun. Great defense and speed and a nice amount of pop. I also really like Brandon Lowe, I believe he was in the August POTM path. Votto and Edmonds are also fun left handed options that dont take a ton of time to unlock. The best part about all of these cards is they are free and just require some grinding.

I can't exactly pinpoint it but I mashed while prestiging Finest Yaz. I think I did better with him than Soto.

Just pick one, trial them, replace them. Plenty at low cost. Edwin Rios is one of my faves.

I don't have Finest Yaz yet. He's next on the list. My 11 year old son and I have been grinding out all the TA for the Finest cards. We basically buy exchanges until we get to about 210 then we play the map for each team. Its been a fun and laborious grind, but I get to see his love of baseball grow while we play. Its been a blast for us. We have 20 teams down.

Awesome you can enjoy this game with your son. Yaz's speed is lacking but other than that he is even better than I thought he'd be.
