Pausing and ranked seasons

Explain to me why you would hit the pause button a good 10 to 15 times in the first two innings and choose to play a ranked game?

To check a players stats or tendencies or bench or bullpen. Since these days are not accurate on the show website, the only way to check them is to do it in game.

I also have to let the dog out/in, deal with kids so I pause a bit for sure. Never unnecessarily tho. But sometimes I feel like my opponent might think I’m doing it to be an A**

Which one is worse. The constant pausing or the ones who have to watch every si gle animation (lots of them in this event)?

Very close call... but I am no way a good player usually max out around 550 in a season and I playing people in 300s watching their homers and pausing
