Just curious what you guys did with the old PS4. Did you guys resell it, donate it, or maybe even kept it for whatever reason?
Or even if you haven't purchased PS5 yet, but plan to, what do you think you will do with your old PS4?

I use it as a streaming box/dvd player for my living room tv. Good secondary system

Great idea. Was thinking of selling or giving mine away, but this is a great alternative I didn't even think of, lol. Glad I asked.

Like the other person did above, I plan on hooking up the PS4 to the T.V. once I get a ps5

I'm counting on a $200 gs trade in for my pro once they are stocked up (likely in the spring).

I posted it for $300 on FB just to see what would happen and there is somebody coming by to pick it up tomorrow afternoon! Very surprised. I just don’t see a need for it anymore and it’ll pay for most of my ps5

Does the game look and play better on a PS5? Load times quicker? How much better is it over a PS4 Pro?

I only had a regular ps4. But, I can tell you that the ps5 is miles ahead of that and everything is running and feeling great in comparison.
I heard that it’s still a big upgrade from the pro, but can’t say from experience. I know there is a few YT videos that go into detail about the differences that might be worth checking out.

I got $400 cash for mine. Well $350 for the system, and then I got 50 bucks for 2 colored control pads. But my console was the Limited edition 500 million sold version. Only 50k were made and had 2 TB HDD. So they probably got a great deal. But i had no use for it. And game places would only give me at best 220 trade in for it.

2 older COD games, MLB TS 18(it was bad juju to hang onto I think lmao), and far cry 5. Haha I think I would have gotten like $150 from GameStop so I can’t complain at all.
Edit: I’ll also add in that it was the original ps4 slim 1 TB version.

I moved my game consoles to a desk. When I get my PS5, I will move the PS4 to the TV stand for netflix and if I ever need to watch movies from a disc.
