I didn’t think so either. Because unless it’s outlier, velocity doesn’t play well this time of year because most players left are goons that can catch up.

I got the 75 wins. I only kept Belli and Arrieta. Sold JV. Got the stubs so just wondered if it’s worth getting. I typically don’t spend that kinda stubs on SP though

I’d rather have Arrieta and movement on every pitch. But it’s personal preference. I know I do not particularly want Verlander though.

Prestige and the event rewind pack are worth it IMO. At least the event rewind pack is for me because I’m trying to collect every card and even if I don’t pull Goose or Mathewson the Logan Gilbert or Benito are still solid pulls lol

I pulled Kirby Yates, pitched 2 innings with him in the event and then sold him to some poor soul out there for 395K. Now he's going for 400K. I have no idea why, the card is straight garbo.

Absolute trash. In the let the kids play event I was matched up with one of your least favorite posters around here and went into extra innings with him. He brings in Yates, I get two hits then must use a common bench bat with 33 contact and 44 power because I needed to get under the 90 overall cap. A no doubt shot with this common, another hit and a Mookie Bomb later and it led to the most obvious dashboard I’ve ever seen

Here is what I read:
Ben V.: I see that you have my brother's velocity at 96. That's messed up as he was still hitting 100mph in the past three innings.
SDS: Our bad. We'll bump it up 1 pt
Best part is that bumping that velocity stat alone does practically nothing. I saw the tweet and I thought they were trolling Ben.
It actually does a lot with the 4 seam consistently hitting 99-101 and the big part is the 2 seam is still only at 94, quite a variation between the 2 fastballs this card is definitely usable now.
