To be fair, I haven’t been playing much lately and when I play the event, almost every single game has been pretty tough

There is a week gap til event 2 drops so there will be a little uptick in his price for a couple days. When event 2 drops he will fall a bit again. I’m actually surprised his price is that high. I was thinking 300k or so as 20 wins is easy.

I’ve stopped playing DD and I have a ton of stubs. I guess I’m just collecting cards/players I like at this point

Thanks for mentioning that, I played only 10 games of this west event because reasons. Didn't know there was a week layoff in-between this and the Central. Guess I'm grinding 10 Ws after work tonight.

Jus thit a few early bombs, ragequit guaranteed especially if they're prestige eligible players.

There are also few cards on the market because you can use him once you earn him in this event. I bet the price drops later in the week and further when the Central event drops and people get the 20 wins easy, like most already said

The only counter to all of this is why would anyone sell at this point in the game cycle? I get there are a lot of 1B and OF options but even for team builds this is a great card and he’s been inserted into my primary lineup as well over Babe at 1B just because I want to use a new player. Bellinger has one of the best swings and much like Goose I think most people who earn him will keep him.

The fact that his price is still in the 700k region is nuts. Makes me think it will not go much lower 500k, ever.

There’s also probably a good amount of people who got the game late and don’t have trout or mantle so they sell the event rewards to finish it. But for others, you’re right there’s no reason to sell
