Gave it a solid run but came up short

I don't get a bunch of time to play ranked seriously like in years past. I get about a half hour to play during my lunch break and maybe two hours if I am lucky after work. Last year I made WS most every season. With the 4 day weekend and nobody needing my services this week I gave WS a go. I got into the 870's but two tough games made me tip my hat and call it a season.
Oh well in order for guys to make WS there also needs to be losers. I had my chances and it just wasn't meant to be. Perhaps I can give it another go over the Christmas break?
Good luck to you all still grinding!

Here is to next season brother! Love your outlook, that will help you for future WS runs.
Cheers!

Also remember, the people playing in those divisions in RS are the devoted ones that play year round. Very few easy wins to come by in RS this time of year.
Keep at it, you’ll break through and hit WS. I strongly suggest Mays, he’s as good as he looks on paper

Thank you. I just don't have enough time but I feel there is a couple cards I may do better in the upper levels that I would not mind trying. Mookie and Mantle raked for me in the 700's and Machado was kind of a dud but his defense for sure saved a few runs. I then struggled with Mookie and Mantle in the 800's and Machado was killing it. Honus was a bit hit n miss too, he seemed to be a master at warning track shots.
I think if I had more time I would put Cobb and Seager in, perhaps Tatis for Honus? It's all about matchups, unless your a goon then it doesn't matter LOL.

Oh for sure! That was me the in 18 and 19. I played strictly RS and like I said made WS about every time. Each year the game is slightly different and one needs to figure out the quirks and features of this animal. I actually am surprised I made it to the upper 800's because only us devoted ones are still playing. The low hanging fruit is gone.
