That seems to be the general consensus. Or at least the ball is much smoother and doesn’t jump half the distance to the plate in .00001 seconds

This is why mlb stadiums are bad. “Frame rate issues” make the speeds faster

I can safely say now, now that I have hands on proof. MLB stadiums play great on PS5. And that is using max settings for graphics. 4K TV with sharper setting on. So while that dont help much now. Looks good for the future.

With that being said I dont think internet connection and framerates have anything to do with one or the other. Lag is caused by poor connection, FPS drops are caused by hardware not being able to render the software fast enough.

I edited my original post just after I wrote it. To be clear, when I said “this is why” I was referring to the faster pitch speeds not the internet connection. Didn’t write it clearly at all

Hardware being pushed to it's limit has more to do with the issues more than anything else, ask anyone playing on a PS5 about the difference, or try getting on the internet with your 10 year old lap top.

It's not the internet connection most of the time....

I heard that the Xbox Series X and PS5 are both having major crash issues with all sorts of games right now. Assassin's Creed, COD Cold War, all of them. Is that true?

No idea. With so many people getting these things at the same time I am sure there are people having issues. As with all launches. I for one have had zero issues. The far majority of people have had zero issues. But you will hear about a lot of problems for a while. Seems like most are getting resolved pretty quickly though.

I haven't gotten any new games yet for PS5 but MLB TS and RDR2 have run flawlessly without any crashes or issues so far. I've had it since launch day.
