This card has been hot trash for me the past 2 weeks. His average has dropped nearly 100 points and all he does is roll over to the shortstop on good timing good pci swings

same. His avg dropped to like .230, only hits he gets are HRs right now so i guess i cant complain. But everything else is rolled over or hit super weak

I am no scientist to say how it impacted him and others that juiced. It just PISSES me off he cheated. I played sports all the way up to college and you have guys who have god given talent and guys who have to work 10x harder to be that good. If you juiced you dont belong in the conversations as one of the greats. You shouldnt be shunned away just like Rose but admit it, dont [censored] foot around about it. Admit it and move on. Lance Armstrongs of the world as well

Agree on Bonds. As someone who grew up watching him in the 80s and 90s he was a HOF player with the Pirates before he transformed into the best power hitter of all time. Unfortunately he cheated, but doesn't change the fact at all that he was a HOF player regardless.

genuinely curious to anyone who says he is "on his way" to being an all time great but if he retired today HOFer? First ballot? Near unanimous? All hypothetical but interesting how other people feel because to me I vote him in first ballot with upper 80% even if he never played another game

I still consider Maris having the all time single season home run record. Bonds, McGuire, and Sosa all cheated. If Rose can be banned from the MLB then so can all the juicers. That said, I would still love to see all 4 in MLB The Show lol.

Already has a higher WAR than Reggie, Larry Walker, and Tony Gwynn. And with an average (by his standard) year next year puts him ahead of DiMaggio & Yount and in a virtual tie w/ Griffey.
Prior to this year, the only thing keeping him out was the 10 year minimum requirement. And now he's got it. The only thing keeping him out of Cooperstown are gambling revelations.

I’m appalled that the OP didn’t mention SDS’s obsession with Tatis. I would say that for such a young player his card is insane. Trout has been top of the league for years and his card being amazing is at least understandable. The Tatis card in comparison is like calling a hill one of the tallest 10 mountains of all time while with Trout we’re just arguing that he is a mountain just not sure why SDS made him the tallest.
