I think so. I'm always playing guys with "atlanta" in it's name. I'm sure the match making distance expands if there isn't anyone in the regional to play.

Then why do I get matched up with dudes from the Dominican and Cuba? Am I special? And yes...those pitches float.. lol

SDS has never really stated what goes into matchmaking. But from what I've gathered over the years, matchmaking prioritizes geographic location, stadium, time of day, and ranking, in no discernable order.
