The new “perfect/perfect” mechanic is great

I’m seeing a lot of posts on here of people trashing the game and I just can’t understand why. Good swings are getting rewarded and the overall feel of the new hitting engine is just more realistic (e.g., balls hit on the edge of the PCI are hit off the edge of the bat).
Every time I’ve taken a perfect/perfect swing, the ball is always hit very hard. More often than not, it’s a hit. What more could you ask for?
Overall, the game looks awesome. If you wanna complain, give it at least a couple of days. You definitely have not seen enough to say it’s bad. It’s definitely not worse than 18.

Agree. Hitting feels smooth and rewarding... My only complaint is that the pitch speeds are too slow, ranked series games all end with football scores... Then Matty V says so

yessir I love it. definetly seeing great results even on the P/P groundballs. not to mention the crack of the bat. good job SDS on this one

Pitch speeds are painful. Speed it up.

Hitting is perfect. Hope they don’t touch it. For the love of God SDS, don’t patch the hitting. Getting rewarded for the first time in years.
