Ability to tell home/road in the pitcher screen...
-
Needs to go. It’s ridiculous how many people home hunt in ranked rn. Sometimes I’ll have 5-6 straight games where my opponent backed out in the pitcher screen bc they weren’t home. This has been in the game for years and idk why it’s still there. As more people discover this, it’s just getting worse. It’s November people, play the [censored] game. Home hunting is lame

In my defense (cause I home hunt 80% of the time), its to dodge people playing at Minute Maid in the rain (or anything remotely similar). Connections suck enough as it is, I dont need the extra framerates.
When they fix those issues for most MLB parks, I’d be much more inclined to play as the away team (My away unis are much better)
-
Hard to do when the biggest indicator is menu lag.
-
Honestly, I have no idea what home hunting is, but I would like an explanation so I can identify when someone is doing this to me.
-
Once i here the scrolling up and forth i back out for them. Waste of time with these people.
-
I do this because everytime I don’t I have to play at shippet. Can we only have realistic parks please

I only do it because I don't feel like playing in an MLB park at 1pm with the sun in my eyes.

When you select you pitcher, sometimes its laggy if you're moving down your rotation, which means you're the road team. If its nice and clean you're the road team. If yours is clean but you hear the other person moving up and down their rotation and then they quit, it's because they didn't want to play as the road team.

Why can’t they fix that? Why not have a system where you set the lineup and pick your pitcher before you start searching for a game?

Would be nice to see connection strenght (Like Dragon Ball Fighterz) with red/yellow/green bars and let us set our settings to look for games that meet certain standards in terms of signal strenght (Like DBF as well) if they add that feature I would gladly play away anytime.
I do hunt home games, I’ve been doing so for the past few months to runaway from MLB parks at 1pm and people with really bad internet

Coors Field is a hitter friendly park like Shippet
-
Even more so now with the quirks: road warrior/homebody/day/night
-
I confess to doing this when I’m trying to work my way out of All-Star H*ll. I don’t have time to play a game on AS at Shippet when me and my opponent have dudes with 125 power up and down our lineups. That’s like slow pitch softball on a little league field. Games with scores like 17-15 are not fun to me, and they take too long to complete.
Once I get to 780-something and I know the game is on HoF, I’ll play as the road team.
-
I scroll, but will play as road if it's not too laggy. If it is lagging like crazy, why would I choose to go ahead?
-
I never knew that this was a thing. Thank you to those for explanation on what it is. I'd LOVE the ability to know if it was a lefty or a righty though, even if just an opener.
