play worse with prestige players

For some reason I play much worse with the upgraded prestige cards then with the original diamond cards. It first started when I upgraded my diamond Hanley ramirez to prestige and took me about 50 at bats to get an extra base hits.

Ive done amazing with diamond Stan Musial, he was batting .390 with 40 homeruns when I unlocked his prestige version and after 40 games with prestige he is batting .210 with 5 homeruns.

Ive been playing well with every other card I have, im just confused as to why I struggle with the Prestige cards when there attributes are boosted
