He threw out Honus a couple times for me in the last event. His hitting more than makes up for how few stolen bases people attempt.

Most people are willing to sacrifice his defense for his bat in the lineup. However, you better have someone like Pudge on the bench just in case you run into a speed cheeser.

I've got Foxx in there and he throws the occasional guy out. Guys with high stealing and good speed, prob not gonna get em, but neither will some of the other guys people are running. Pudge swings a pool noodle, Posey and Biggio have ok arms and pretty much throw out the same number.. past balls aren't an issue really so the question is does Foxx give you more runs than he costs you and I'd say without a doubt yes. He takes a position that is typically an offensive weakness with poor speed and hitting and turns it into a big RBI asset.

He was perfectly serviceable at Catcher for me. If you can get a perfect throw off he's pretty handy.

And his buddy Forest Gump would be able to steal 2 bags on one pitch with his speed.

If the guy gets a good jump he’s safe almost every time nomatter who the catcher is. I honestly feel like blocking is the only defensive stat that reflects on the field. I used Pudge & Posada almost the same amount of innings & I’ve actually thrown out more runners with Posada.
