Faced him on legend, cutter/curve tons of break, otherwise sinker seemed flat, wasn't difficult at all to hit, no changeup made that even more possible. Overall takeaway: Not impressed

I didn’t like Darvish but really liked Bauer as his slider is nasty. ( I don’t like the 12-6 as the only real off speed)

I used Baur on HOF and he’s legit my top 3 pitcher right now.. I liked him... buuuut I faced him a crushed him so I think it depends on how you use him... darvish to me is trash I got rage quits both time I played him lol

I faced him once last night. Obviously first time seeing him I struck out 10 times but scored 4 runs two via HR

Liking him so far. Sinker and Cutter compliment each other quite well.

I mentioned something about Bauer's cutter in the Road To The Show section a few months back. Someone was asking a question about a pitch to add on their RTTS player.
I noted that I had just used Bauer (live series) with the Reds in a random Play Now game online, and there was something interesting about Bauer's cutter that I noticed. The velocity on Bauer's cutter was bottoming out at 83 mph. That's really slow for a cutter. I began thinking that Bauer's cutter could be used as an "inverted change up", of sorts, a change up with glove side movement, basically.
Not many pitchers have a cutter that slow, and I think Bauer's Finest card lists his cutter velocity in the low to mid 80s.

His finest sucked in 19 or 18 i forget ... Id assume he's easy to pick up still

Slider/cutter tunnel gets a lot of roll over ground balls. You need to use him around the cutter for sure.

Bauer is better then darvish. It sucks as a cubs fan I was happy to see the darvish card. But again on allstar almost any card gets hit hard
