There are two types of flippers the huge margin cutthroat guys who make 5-20K+ per flip and then you have me the high volume 500-1500 per flip guys who sell in bulk and we only sell cards what turn over a lot so eventually our orders fill. The trick is to find your $ making cards and ride them out.
Then take your excess profits that are not being used to flip cards and put that $ into orders on cards that will likely move from gold to diamond or silver to gold. If you do it right you can make 5 to 10X what you invested. Rinse and repeat. Went from 600k after getting Mantle in April to owning everything and 9+m to spare.

Part of the fun is working through the content and after completing one, have a new card to play with until finish the next. I can see doing exchanges for a few cards, but all of them in five minutes would make the game boring an hour later!

I just started flipping in June. Kind of mindless, but the only way I'm going to earn them in bulk.

If you know exactly how many stubs you have, then your stubs are sitting in your account collecting dust instead of being on the market working to make you more stubs.
If I called in all my dogs, it would be in the 8.5-9 million range. More than enough that I don't need to keep spending my down time at work flipping every day.

This guy knows the score.
I'm definitely a 600-800 per flip guy. If you flip at the same time every day, you learn the trends of the day and you can find the same no-risk investments that will make you rich if you're wiling to put in the time.
I'm pretty sure I've only made one flip with a 25K+ profit all year. I find that the high-risk, high-reward flips are too stressful.

As a Pirates fan, I tried to flip a Prime Dave Parker card a few months back, thinking I'd make an easy 50k profit. Didn't realize that the market was thin for this kind of trade. I panicked and ended up selling at a 10k loss a few hours later. I'm with you - too high risk, especially when I didn't have the stubs to mess around with at the time.

Nah, man. This really is the only game I play. Ever since DD got its hooks into me in 2016, all other games have sat and collected dust. If it was just playing baseball, I would have moved on a long tine ago. Unfortunately, my ocd is kind of out there, so now you have to add in card collection and working the market. Meanwhile I've got great games that just sit, and at the end of each year, grab more games that appeal to me on the cheap.

LOL, in that case there is a hotline i need you to call
Nope I can't use my phone to call im too busy placing orders. LOL. (actually it's really easy to place orders at night while watching a show or the news. ) COVID made making stubs super easy. I used to travel quite a bit for work and would spend hours on a plane or driving. Now I work from home and can make real $ in the stock market or fake $ in the show. I only wish it was as easy to make real $ as it is to make stubbs.

Nope I can't use my phone to call im too busy placing orders. LOL. (actually it's really easy to place orders at night while watching a show or the news. ) COVID made making stubs super easy. I used to travel quite a bit for work and would spend hours on a plane or driving. Now I work from home and can make real $ in the stock market or fake $ in the show. I only wish it was as easy to make real $ as it is to make stubbs.
