This needs an improvement for sure. Editing lineups is a lil wonky in this new mode. Shouldnt be that time consuming and shouldnt feel like a puzzle just to add the new guys to your lineup
it literally isn't hard

Yes I click manage lineup. That's where my fielders by position are on the left and the lineup is on the right. I then scroll down my lineup to the bench, hit X and nothing happens. I can't replace my bench with other players that are in my roster. Or is there another spot I'm not seeing?

Bruh it's the same as your regular lineup, hit square to move.

I can't move people who aren't starting anywhere yet. For example. Let's say showdown gives me a silver player and I take Hoskins just for bench to sub for the pitcher in the main mission. I can't move him to the bench. I have to take the guy who I want to replace, move him to C or whatever, then have Hoskins sub for him at C, then sub Hoskins on the bench back for the C.

You can't do it from the lineup part, highlight on the catcher the press down it will take you to the bench players.

I click X and nothing happens. What should happen, like last year on your DD screen, is I can substitute all of my available players that are in my inventory that not already starting or on the bench.

I click X and nothing happens. What should happen, like last year on your DD screen, is I can substitute all of my available players that are in my inventory that not already starting or on the bench.
Like I said, just highlight the catcher on the field, and press down. Then just sub out whoever you want. It’s the same for DD lineups too.
You’re making this way, way more complicated than it actually is lol

You cant add players to bench. Has to be directly to primary position. Unless its affecting people differently
Edit: I see what your saying, either way it could be more streamlined and an easy improvement

I don’t see what’s wrong with it as is. Seems simple and straightforward enough to me.
