Showdown

Just love this new mode!!! That is all...
-
I tried it out too. I found it enjoyable. My biggest issue is I stopped playing 19 in like June so my timing is so off I went 1-4 in the first 4 challenges (including the first boss showdown) and got booted.

Yeah, I actually lost the first boss battle too but my excuse is that I my timing was really bad last night and the mode switched my normal batting view and instead of changing it back I decided to give it a try.

Still need to be able to redo the non-final moments or make entries free.

That removes all challenge from the mode. Entry fee is easily made up along the way.

A couple of questions for this mode:
What is the entry fee?
How many challenges in a set can you fail without getting booted?
-
each one has a different fee. the blue ones you can fail and continue on, the red ones end the attempt if failed

Best new addition in all the years I've been playing. I will be playing this a lot. Enjoy the variety. The Scherzer Showdown 20 outs to score 1 measly run, I was down to 4 outs left when my man Francisco Lindor came through with a clutch RBI. Scherzer's fast ball is so fast you have to swing before he starts his windup.

I love that you can skip straight to the boss whenever you're ready. Saves some headache if you get a good draft.

1st inning showdown is on rookie and shouldn’t be hard, but when I get to the first Red level it’s nothing but a line out fest on good/good. Only 7 outs and I’m lining out 7 straight times. Have done this 3 straight attempts. What gives? This is ROOKIE
