@halfbutt said in MLB The Show 21 and beyond wishlist.:

    Consistent pitch speeds throughout modes.

    Eliminate moments.

    Eliminate “sliders”.

    Consistent difficulties throughout modes.

    Serious retooling of pitching confidence.

Implementation of strike percentages and pitch usage percentages for cpu controlled pitchers.

User input that actually makes a significant difference.

Rather than eliminate Moments, keep them in but remove the rewards that force them to be behind the ridiculous ‘grindwall’ and let people have fun playing them.

Assuming you mean sliders that impact upon probabilities and what not, these are important in many aspects of the game. What’s the thinking behind removing them?

Sds should have a poll type of questionnaire like they do with their betas. Like what is something that we want to see in the upcoming game. Because at the end of the day sports games comes down to animation because we all know the same dudes are going to be in the game the following year.

I’m just looking for consistency in the gameplay. I want the various difficulties to play the same throughout the modes. When I’m hitting in a moment that is veteran difficulty, I want it to feel like hitting in COTW on veteran, or in conquest or vs cpu on veteran.

I see now, you’re referring to the hidden sliders that are behind the DD modes to turn them into a chore. 100% agree with you.

The sliders that we have control over though, they need to stay.

    Franchise:

    1. Ability to create more than two uniforms for rebranded teams.

    2. Enhanced record book that keeps track of top 10+ players of different stats and past award winners (similar to how NBA 2k has their record book in myGM).

    3. Improved Hall of Fame tracker with more accurate representation of players being inducted.

    4. Show player accolades on the players card (ex. All Star appearances, Silver Slugger, MVP, World Series wins, etc.).

    5. More celebration animations for big moments (ex. walk offs, clinching games, game changing plays).

    6. Ability to edit coaches.

    7. Retired numbers.

    8. New or additional broadcast crew.

    9. Rain outs/double headers.

    10. If not a stadium creator, at least one or two new stadiums included to use for rebranding so we aren’t forced to use an already existing stadium.

This would be a dream come true. Your list is literally my list

I have a few extra thoughts for game play additions.
    #1 Big rundown sour patches.

    #2 Batter axis real deals.

#3 Money zone hit user indicators.

#4 Evident upper deck snap celebrations.

    #5 Long ball single-winner system.
