I have a hard time hitting right on right. Soooo trying to get some more switch hitters in . See how it goes. I do like his defense stats.

Since I am terrible at hitting. I try to rely on my pitching and defense as much as possible.

Yeah, I used to say that about hitting and pitching too. I’m guessing from that statement, you don’t enjoy this years game as much as last years? Feel like you’re still the same bad hitter, but it’s so much harder
to get by using your pitching and defense to succeed?

Didn’t play 2019. Didn’t play online in 2018. So this year my first online year.

My pitching is ok. Defense is not bad , but I feel it’s because I put a premium on that.

I just can’t hit well. My twitch reflexes are lacking, plus eyesight most likely. Still have fun though.

Definitely get bailed out at times by card ratings compared to my opponents card ratings.

I dunno about card ratings, feels random to me. Shame it’s not more consistent, one game my diamond players are booting routine plays, the next they’re robbing home runs and making diving plays like superman.

After Willie Mays, I am still anticipating spending a couple stubblies on: Lefty Grove, Dennis Eckersley, Adley Rutschman, Wander Franco, hopefully a couple interesting flashbacks, and maybe Brooks Robinson if you’re into that kind of thing.

I love Eckersley dearly, but I cannot pitch with his cards in MLB the Show 😐

That’s a great thing. If this were 2k all these cards would be outdone in a week
    After release.

There is the queue for 99 Billy Wagner for 1,000,000. Only way to get an all 99 team is to get him.

Filling up collections that were not fully up to the new limit they had set about a month ago. Ironically used stubs for this venture... and pulled DeGrom and Verlander in the ballin packs, so I ended up with more stubs than when I started. Def. easier to get some of the collection guys on Awards, FS, SS and Prime with the prices of the Headliners so low.

He's great, but he's coming off my bench rn. The defense just isn't there to justify starting him over Mantle, Trout, or Griffey imo. So I have him for one AB a game atleast.

I agree with OP, I’m sitting on almost $3M in stubs plus more than enough cards to complete TA4 instantly and I have no idea what to spend it on. I have most of the cards already except for the big BR cards like Chipper and Wagner but the lines are so long for them I’m not sure they will ever be filled. Paying $900k for guys like Casey Mize and Bench seems excessive but they are a couple of the few remaining cards I don’t have. I guess I can’t take the stubs with me so I might as well spend them on that.

His swing is quick, like Alomar with power.

Yea i hear you. He just doesnt get the ball hit his way for me to care to much. He has one error for me. That error did cost me the game though

i might have to try Alomar then. Im late on any fastball so the quicker the swing the better for me

Did I hear that they are also releasing older versions of finest?

Could be a choice packs with another reward. Or we could get another choice pack with some of the missing legends.

Just throwing some stuff out there

Only big ones I don’t have is Chipper and Feller and Mize. Chipper interest me because of switch hitting.

Alomar, Williams, Blackmon and a few others have that slap swing. If he had more power he’d be one of the best cards but he’s still a good lead off and defensive guy.
