and we have a 99 overall finest with 69/110 vs LHP.
-
In 30 at bats, you can cherry pick 30 at bats from any player at different points and make them look like the best or worst player in baseball. They had to give someone a finest on the team
-
Big yikes.

Those at bats aren't cherry picked, those are his AB's against LHP for 2020, you know the season they are using to make these finest cards.
Jose Iglesias was a better player, only 15 fewer PA's.
-
Maybe we should all cry about it?
-
Of course, he was obviously a better hitter against LHP then Freddie Freeman this year.

I wasnt saying those ones were cherry picked, im saying you can't say he was good or bad off of 30 at bats.

110 power with 2 hr out of 30 abs seems crazy excessive

I won't argue that at all, I can definitely agree 110 power is a bit crazy considering Freeman's numbers. All I was trying to say is acting like he is complete trash against lefties after 30 at bats this year is going a bit overboard as well.

Santander has a nice swing in this game

Where did I say he was trash? I just pointed out the absurdity of 69/110 with those numbers against LHP.

This is the problem with releasing so much content and then trying to shoehorn meaningful content in your last program. Since this was an outside the box year, they should have given an outside the box solution. I grinded for all other TA levels, but this one seems pretty dumb, and if you did grind instead of doing exchanges, etc, by the time you are done the next game will be out and you wont be able to use them.

You are correct and I apologize. For some reason I thought your original comment was harsher but you indeed just pointed out his stats/attributes

No apology needed, this is just one example of why I hoped TA4 wasn't going to be a straight Finest program. It's Future Stars on steroids.
There were plenty of great players you could do finest with without doing each team. I still think you could find a juiced player to drop for every team that wasn't a finest.

And they likely still could drop the finest “selects”. The only one would could have been a finest select so far is Freeman, but there is a very good argument for Abreu at 1B. These are more or less the same level as the fan voted finest from last year. Once we see the Yankees, Nationals, Padres, Indians and Reds TA4 finest we will know the whole story, because Lemahieu, Soto, Machado, Bieber, And Bauer certainly fall Into the finest select category. Also there really shouldn’t have been any hope that TA4 shouldn’t have been finest, because the Padres and Royals quite literally had no more cards to release except for Hosmer, and TA4 had to be 99s because of TA3 including them
-
Agreed. So far most of these finest cards are meh and don’t appear to have any business having a 99 next to their name. Santander seems especially bizarre since he’s a LS silver but somehow a 99 finest as well.
-
Another reason why I think of "World's Finest Coffee" when I see Finest players in this game. They are superstars to someone!
