Conquest and showdown really weren’t that tough. Conquest just took me about a week because of the turn based objectives. The moments were the hardest, it the XBH with Lou was by far the hardest. I think I spent about 3.5 hours straight with 3 XBH multiple times only to have Torres stop at second line drives that bounced off of the wall. Most of the HOF moments have silver pitchers so it’s not as bad as you’d think.

I did the Yelich moment in my first 3 ABs so I'm no help there. The Gehrig moment took an extraordinary amount of time. I didnt use anything more than normal swing though. Tried to get under and pull everything the short porch in right.

Also, funny enough, I think the easiest moments were the Pearson moment and winning the game on legend.

Thanks for the suggestions all! I have showdown done, and am probably more excited to get Pearson than I am about Lou Gehrig, so may stop after that. The question is, do I go moments or conquest.

I actually just started the moments this weekend. I’m not good at this game by any stretch, so I assumed I would never in a million years be able to do the yelich or Gehrig moments. But the baseball gods were on my side I guess because I finished both of them really quickly (maybe 3 or 4 tries each). I also finished the Nate Pearson 8 hits/5 runs in one try too. Again, I’m not good at this game, so I think the sliders are juiced in our favor for a change. I have come close on the Rivera comeback but still haven’t cracked it. I am very confident that I can do all the moments with enough patience. Showdown, on the other hand...........

My best advice is just to give it a try because they’re more doable than they seem. I suggest playing some conquest games on HoF to get warmed up to that pitch speed. Also, I usually have music or TV or a podcast in the background when doing mindless grinds, but I turned everything else off and focused only on the game. That seemed to help.

I wasn’t all that good with Gehrig last year, but I was raking with him in his moment this year. If he really is that good then he’s definitely worth the grind!

Good luck, bro-magnon man. You got this!!

Conquest is slightly time consuming, but pretty easy to complete. And you get additional rewards from the map.

I’m occasionally working on the conquest map. Haven’t tried anything else. Don’t have the time or patience honestly

I had to use square in the yelich moment. I played for 30 minutes using x and I think I had one homer. Switched to square and it took another half hour.

I can get three homers all day long with Gehrig. Several times I’ve gotten four extra base hit with Yellich. But never t’other way ‘round
