TA4 reveal thread

So I guess every single Finest will be a 99 this year? Last year, they were mostly in the 94-97 range with only a few very deserving guys getting a 99, right? Not sure I like this decision at all... as mentioned, some teams just didn’t have anyone who had a remarkable year, so the bloat is going to be really gross on some of these.
I wonder what kind of collection rewards they’ll use to entice us to collect all these. I assume they’ll be other finest from previous years. I kinda hope they don’t make the 19 Finest Bellinger a reward, tbh, because that is probably the only finest card that would make me want to lock in all 30 of these.
I don’t mean to be negative (lol yes I do), but last year’s card art was super sexy and this year it’s .... not. If last year was Anne Hathaway, then this year is Anne Murray.

It doesn’t seem to matter if they make them all 99s, they are all junk so far....only way these get used by anyone who has played for awhile is if they just love the player

At least they are consistent throughout the year. I like the idea mentioned earlier of essentially having 1 all star team and actually pick the best players for each position no matter the league.

Totally agree. How in the hell does a David Fletcher get a 99? Am I missing something? Shouldn't a 99 be reserved for only the best players in the game.
If your LS card can't be a 99 then why do you get a 99 card later? Makes no sense. This is what overvalues a lot of cards in this game. You can build a great team for a lot cheaper because of this. The best cards should be the most expensive and harder to achieve.
I mean we had the 99 Kluber on day one and he still can find himself into the rotation and is dirt cheap.
As much As I like my 99 MVP Trout, he was awfully easy to get based on the easy collections.
That's my two cents worth anyway, love the game, but it missed the mark this year. -

Can do it for half the price. 13 78 overalls basically gives you 50k points. They have been going for 200 or less stubs. So 13 × 200. 2600 stubbs for 50k basically half what you are saying to do with diamonds.

Even though we knew it was coming, TA4 being Finest players is incredibly stupid.
I feel like all this collecting and grinding I've done for Team Affinity was for nothing. How am I supposed to be excited that my final reward after all that work is going to be a 99 Gurriel or Fletcher?
Unless there are some amazing card packs on they way there, they really missed the mark with this.

I personally would be happier if finest were in that 90-95 range but got all their live series quirks to make it close yet show respect for the greats of the game. Though honestly most of these cards aren't making any sort of lineups at this point and you'd have to complete affinities to get them so it isn't like new players can get them to be competitive. All that being said I can be bribed to change my mind if the rewards are 5 ballins ducks on the pond elite beach ball and some actual stub rewards like 15-20k not 5 or 6
