Something is up with prestige cards (for me)

I am universally worse with prestige cards. Does not matter who. Does not matter sample size.
I am worse with: Oswalt, Belli, Orel, Paxton, Musial, Trout, Reggie, Mo, Tatis, Thome, J-Ram, Posey, and two of the biggest examples, Sheffield and Mantle.
Mantle Normal:
.336 AVG, 72 HR, 1.180 OPS in 620 ABs
Mantle Prestige:
.283 AVG, 35 HR, .901 OPS in 456 ABsSheffield Normal:
.308 AVG, 62 HR, 1.037 OPS in 637 ABs
Sheffield Prestige:
.167 AVG, 3 HR, .608 OPS in 66 ABsYou could say I am "trying too hard," but with Mantle as a good example, someone who was my best card, now I have benched him; he has nearly 300 points lower OPS thru 450 ABs.
Anybody else worse with every single prestige card? Or most?

You can chalk it up to alot more better pitchers in everyone’s rotation now. Makes a difference for sure

Valid point and thanks for mentioning. I don't think this falls under that because he was released so late but I am significantly worse with Prestige Tatis. Also, I am trying to Prestige JRam and I couldn't hit sand if I fell off a camel with him. So frustrating.

You cannot chalk it up to better pitchers, as I just recently prestiged Trout, Tatis, and J-Ram (as well as Stan).

I agree.
I feel Prestige cards are overrated. Almost all of them are not being used either in my lineup, bench, or rotation. I see them here and there in my opponent's lineup, but the majority of times I don't see even one.
Although I'm sure there are some exceptions out there, I have read through previous posts that others feel the same in that they do not tend to do well with their Prestige cards also.

I am trying to prestige several cards just cuz I’m bored with nothing else to do n this game. I stand by the following approach: find cards you hit well with and stay with them!

Events can skew stats as well, if you had Mantle and Sheff during the moonshot event they got boosted vs using them in the current event on HoF with 99 pitchers.

I am worse with every prestige card, mantle has been fairly similar stat wise, but he is the only one remotely close, the only pitcher that I do better with is red Felix

I started so much worse with prestige Walker, after 200 ab's I went back to regular Walker

I have like 11 prestige cards not including xp rewards. And the 2 that do worse for me were Gary and Didi early in the year. Trout,tatis, mantle, walker, all pretiged still play amazing or better. Especially red trout. Card feels like a cheat.

Standard 99 Tatis hit everything hard and had a lot of homers for me...
Prestige Tatis hits groundouts and lazy fly balls
Switched back to non-prestige and Tatis rakes again
