There is NO way that a majority of Moments are on the difficulty suggested!

Prove Me Wrong!
-
I mean technically none of us can prove you wrong, nor can you prove yourself right.
Because what does it mean to play on veteran versus all-star besides pitch speeds? What are the differences? what makes one easier? I don't know, you don't know, no one but SDS knows.

I know. I'm just frustrated. Working on some of the TN Moments on my son's account to get him Tatis. (only completed the first set).
Anyway, I started the one that has the 'Hit 2 HRs in one game with Yaz'.
Since I like to 'start at the bottom and work my way up', this Moment was saved for last.
Took me a little over an hour to do the others. (Maybe 75 mins).
But this one here, I've been at it for almost 2.5 hours and haven't hit ONE SINGLE HR.
Anything I get to hit, because Paddock likes to throw 6ft in the dirt or 6ft above the batter's head, is usually a warning track shot.
Seriously, nthis is the ONLY one left this pack. And I can't get 2HRs inn2.5 hours? I've tried directional and pulling them. I've tried Zone. I've tried Analog. And all I get are Ks or warning track shots.

I can prove you wrong....oh wait I can't. I wish they would turn moments up a notch because I hit better on Legend than I do on Rookie or Veteran.
-
I think it's less of a difficulty problem and more of a 'moments really emphasizes the flaws with the pitching system this year' thing.
-
I went back and forth with directional/zone, and finally did this one with zone, waiting purely for pitches on the upper half of the plate and only using the square button (I always feel like I have problems hitting homers in SF, regardless of power). Restart if you don’t get a homer in the first AB. I was definitely happy to put this one behind me.

Lmao SDS doesn’t even know

It’s on the correct difficulty as far as what we can see however what we can’t see might be a different story. Do they adjust sliders for certain moments? I sure believe they do. I have mentioned before how it flat out feels like there is a target time they want you spending on each set.
You mean to tell me I can spend a half hour with a guy that has 100, 110, or 125 power against a bronze pitcher hitting lazy flies balls yet in ranked a 35 power is pulling a slider away swung early for a homer?
There is times you get it on your first try or you breeze through a few no problem. There just always seems to be that one out of the group that takes up your time.
-
Ironically, if I remember correctly; I may have beat this,, on my account, in the first two ABs.
Just 'luck of the draw'.
-
I think the moments ARE on the difficulty they say but they mess around with the sliders so that the stated difficulty doesn't really correspond to how hard the moments actually are. So, for example, on a hitting moment on veteran, you'll have a veteran sized PCI, timing window, and pitch speeds but the sliders may be adjusted to make the moment easier or harder depending on how SDS wants the moment to play (i.e. nerfing or increasing user power or CPU fielding abilities).

It’s just throttled so you can’t blow through them...same as last year. They’ve made a lot of things not fun in this game.
-
They are so random too. I spent 30+ minutes on stupid Danny Jansen a few days ago, pulled most of my hair out, and quit. turned it on yesterday. did it in first try. I hate moments, with every fiber of my being.

I’ll agree with this statement!! Played a game on legend vs cpu a couple months back. I often struggle with patience but not this particular game. Anyway, I walked 11 times during this game and it was on legend. I couldn’t believe it!

Currently going through a S show with the Albies 9 hits 3xbh. In 3 games I got 7 hits and 1 xbh. Now 4 games tearing the cover off the ball but all singles because there is a 47 speed runner on first who is obviously batting 1000.
I’ve had hits off the wall where he stops at second. Also funny, notice how there is always runners on 2nd and 3rd to start a game but xbh starts with runners on 1st and 2nd for that very reason.
