Uh ... that's the point.
If SDS told everybody to **** off that didn't buy the game Opening week, the user base would be infinitesimally smaller.
Punishing late adopters is literally the worst business strategy ever.

I really don't care if someone who joins now gets a good team. Why should I? It doesn't affect how I feel about my team at all, I still like it, I still enjoyed the grind. I wouldn't change anything even with prior knowledge of future cards. Worrying about how fast other people get a god squad as it nears November is silly.

I'm thinking this was more a rant against the RNG in the game than people able to acquire diamonds quickly and cheap. At this stage everyone has all diamonds. He's saying that those late into the game are getting both top tier players and the benefit of RNG affecting the outcome. Like it or not experience / skill should matter MORE in this game and it seems like at one point online play was more of a competitive thing that it is now. RNG is only going to worse with all of the new console players coming in... so hang tight.

Yes. The point was that I like that SDS is not forcing people to spend money to compete. But with that, loosen the RNG please. Thanks, previous commenter.
