Beta test

For 20 the beta was in January. If I remember correctly you just sign up through here and if you’re accepted you get an invite in your messages on your PS4. They have a forum for people invited on here to post and they have a questionnaire you can fill out. I got accepted the last 2 yrs. you just play the game, I think this season was events where the difficulty changed for each and play vs cpu. They also give you 100k stubs daily so you can try out everyone that’s included.

Is it hard to get accepted? I think it would be really fun! I wasn't sure if there was criteria.
If you have to be good at the game, then I will not get in. LOL -
I don’t think so or at least they haven’t said. I’m a World Series player but by the skin of my teeth. Forgot to fill out the questionnaire for 19 and still got accepted for 20. If anything I’d assume they would look at how much you played it in general to know people who are accepted actually care about the game. Never had an issue finding a game even at 3am during either so a lot get the invite.

Ok. I do a lot of beta tests for other things, but this might be the best.

Last year I think all you had to do was pre order 2020, that's all I did and I got a invite. You get to try out every card and test for bugs. It was fun last year (it's the only time I've ever pulled a Trout)

SO, once it is closed, everything goes away? Do you get a "reward" for it?

I think you get a show pack or something as a reward and yes you can't keep anything. It would be unfair otherwise. I think it's basically used as a test to see what needs to be fixed most.

Don’t ask me, I’m English. As a result I’m excluded from COTW, Tournaments, Betas, Twitch raffles, leaderboards etc. Thankfully, the chaps at SDS are kind enough to permit us worthless foreigners to buy stubs from them, which is some small comfort.

I never pre order, well not until March, and have done all the Alphas and last years Beta. I think most people get to.

Last year everybody that played the game got an invite and I imagine they do something just like that again.
