What if it showed how far the home run went without you having to replay? I hate replaying my home runs, but want to know how far it went. Before replays, you could, which I liked. Thoughts?

Yup. If you are playing me, and I replay a HR, I either want to know how far it went, or I just walked it off to make it to WS.
(Which will never happen) lol -
Pause the game and go into the game log. It tells you the distance there without annoying the opponent.

I knew I could do that, but wish I could see it without pausing.

I agree it would be nice if they just showed the distance as the batter crossed the plate. I usually just wait until the game is over and then just check the log after but it's definitely not the same as knowing in the moment.

When I read your original post I assumed you were just unaware of the game log. I’m not sure what to think of this now that you confirmed you are aware. Seems like pausing the game for two seconds to look at the game log would be pausing gameplay less than making your opponent watch a 5 second replay of your swing, bat flip, and ball trail so you can see the same number at the very end of the replay.

It’s hard to argue that this would not be a nice add...no downside to flash it under the players name as he crosses the plate
