Sorry for such a long post. But is this a kick [censored] team? Thanks to any replies. Also after I'm done building this you think i could take trout or mantle never even done a mini collection. Thanks! -
On paper, the team looks solid, but no game is played on paper. No card can carry you to WS, if you don't play well with a card, it doesn't matter what their rating is.
Especially on the pitching side, you can have all the big names in the world, but if it doesn't match your style, the card won't perform. Like Nolan Ryan, I cannot pitch with him, so even though his stats are juicy, it wouldn't make sense for me to have him on my team.
Ratings have their place, don't get me wrong, but the biggest importance is how you perform with the card

Alright thanks. On 19 I'm 15-2 with Ryan so I'll use him. I will pay attention to who I rake with though. So thanks! I'll be doing some testing of cards. Thanks!

Looks like a fun team to play with and I agree with the above statement no combination of players no matter how good they are capable of performing based on great attributes will ensure that you win not to mention everyone has access to everything they desire as far as players so get the guys you like and feel you play good with.

Just play with who you have the most fun with and don't worry about ranking.
I have Award Ortiz as my First baseman and haven't even thought about going for Babe or Gehrig.

I'd put Stan at 1st and keep Ortiz on the bench. Also Wood > than Ryan and Orel> Strasburg. You also have a speed problem in the outfield, I'd set you're home field as one with tighter corners and not so deep.
