Is Gossage worth the hassel

Yes, atleast imo. Even on all-star, he's way better than Mo.
and even if you didn't want him, just the fact that he's currently 600k means he's worth grinding for.
There is a reason he is that expensive, he's the best RH pitcher in the game.
Quick question if you don’t mind, would I be screwing up not purchasing him now?
Honestly, I have no idea, I never saw him maintaining this price. I do think his supply dries up at some point, but his price has been up and down since the beginning.
It's not that people are not choosing to sell him, there are a ton of transactions everyday, he was selling for below 500k in the early morning, but it seems there is a never-ending supply of people who are willing to pay that much,

Yeah, with the never ending stub supply and the fact he is an event reward, I’m thinking I’m just going to grab him tonight. I don’t mind overpaying a 100k or so, just as long as I don’t end up having to pay a million. Thanks for the input man!

I just dont see him as a good card that is worth the stubs. When you can get Dibble for less then a 1/4 of the price. Yes dibble only has 3 pitchers but his numbers are close to gossage and both have outlier I. Gagne is also a good option
-
Pissed me off I got the 50 wins like 10 days into the event and sold only for it to go up again and I had to panic buy and lose like 40k...but that was 200k ago, kind of absurd his price is still so high you'd think many more ppl would have banged out the 50 event wins by now

There is a difference though
You say " I just dont see him as a good card that is worth the stubs. "
What you really mean is, I don't see him worth being the stubs. Not that he isn't good.
You could easily argue that, especially for someone who doesn't have a lot of stubs
There is no question he is a really good card and if stubs aren't an issue, are absolutely better then the cards you named.

Ok. If I did go for him; I would probably sell him. Since Mo is locked in and I only like to run two CPs (one right and one left), I wouldnt have room for him .
Could I put him in as a set up man? Yes, but not at 500K.
Could I move Mo to set up? Yes; but I bought him because I wanted to use him as my closer.
So, my only concern is if he holds at this value. Even dripping to 200K, I don't think it would be worth it.
I have 1.5M in stubs and some possible upgrades coming with the next roster update. I don't need anyone in my team right now, other than who I currently have, except for Jr; so I don't need the stubs.
Pretty much I have decided not to go for him; but was trying to see if anyone could talk me out of not going for him.
So far; that's not happening.

Imo Goose works best as a long reliever, he's a guy you bring in to close in the 8th and the 9th, he's not a one inning guy. That 41 stamina is a big reason I love the card
He won't dip to 200k, it's clear at this point that won't happen. He will hold value.
As for having enough stubs, I feel that, I have been at that point for awhile, I only played the event instead of buying him because I knew I could get him in about 60 games and it was a nice break from ranked.
-
Why are you concerned about only carrying two closers? That’s very confusing to me. Your whole bullpen should theoretically be shutdown guys that you can bring into any situation.
To that point yes. Gossage is probably the best reliever in the entire game, even better than Dibble. He basically won me the qualifiers this weekend. The 102 MPH fastball, 96 sinker, and slurve/change have so much speed difference and movement that he’s extremely hard to hit. It also helps that he has an explosive motion with a weird overhand arm slot. I’ll be earning him for my team, but I would even pay 600k for him. He’s that good.

If you're just going to play bots all day not sure it's worth it.
-
Definitely not worth the hassle. But he’s worth the stubs.
I can’t answer your original question because I’m not sure what a “hassel” is.

Goose if absolutely filthy. I grinned out the 50 wins and am [censored] glad I did. I've only pitched a couple innings but love him so far.
Side note for the OP- how the heck do you use Mo effectively? I've given him two shots in my bullpen and after 5 or 6 games sold him both times. I also don't mind facing him, that delivery is easy to pick up. Do you actually get guys out with him?

To be honest I haven't played any RS since I got him. I'm waiting to play towards the end of the year.

So you don’t even know if you like him/good with him??

And to answer OP I haven’t used him so have no input there but coming from a guy who played an 11 inning event game last night. Yup 11 innings and I no hit the guy. I would buy him and not grind this dumb af event

The last 2 stages of the event were super easy. The 1st 6 inning stage was BS, and this looks like it's no fun because of the lack of options... If you have to grind some wins out on this WS event then I feel bad for you, it's gonna be a sweat fest. I'm going to knock out Kershaw and Jansen's prestige but otherwise I'm done with it.
Gossage is def worth the grind, I wouldn't pay the stubs for him.

I unlock him in 9 more wins, so should I sell then or will he go up in price when event is over?

I think he's just going to keep going up

Where can you buy hassel at? I can’t find him, and I was gonna do the exchange to get goose; so I don’t have to play all those event games.
-
He’s great. Best move all year was grinding that event considering he’s still 500k.
