Troll job.

Someone’s going to tell you he had less AB vs LHP and using this formula you’re incorrect.
3.2.1........
Like dragon said this guy constantly says things that are proven wrong but will argue til he's blue in the face that everyone else is wrong.

Also I'm pretty sure his power vs righty is higher than power vs lefty which means the game agrees with you. What exactly are you arguing here?

So the first card this year I gave SDS a pass on Chipper’s power attributes, which were backwards. However the new card has done it again. Making him a more powerful hitter right handed. This is really an egregious error. Chipper was never a more powerful hitter right handed. In fact Chipper nearly gave up switch hitting early in his career do to the lack of power he had from his right hand side. The numbers don’t lie either, 303 homers left handed 165 right handed. Im sorry but it’s a pretty bad error to make once but twice??? Come on guys. Please fix this problem SDS.
I’m pretty sure it’s 361 and 107, not 303 and 165. Just saying.

Yep, first thing i thought was he probably had 3x the at bats vs right handlers

Chipper Jones career HR splits:
Left hand vs RHP 361HR in 6,451 AB
- 17.86 AB per HRRight hand vs LHP 107HR in 2,533 AB
- 23.67 AB per HRBonus Round
Chipper Jones HR splits in 1999Left hand vs RHP 30HR in 425AB
-14.16 AB per HRRight hand vs LHP 15HR in 142AB
-9.46 AB per HRLooks like OP is wrong twice and owes SDS an apology

.405 slugging percentage left handed vs .391 right handed should just about salt that theory away. Lower amount of at bats per homer lefty than righty. What other metric are we going to base power on. Please tell me.

You’re the one name calling, not me. I just provided proof that they were wrong, but I guess facts are fluid with you.

Hence why his power vs righty is higher than his power vs left. Did you misread the stats or are you choosing to argue against something that agrees with you?
Also his veteran card was for the year 1999 which he had a much higher slugging percentage against lefties than. Righties that year so you are just incorrect as far as that card

You’re absolutely correct, I misinterpreted what I was reading. My apologies to SDS
-
If your numbers were correct in the OP you would actually be making the correct point for SDS giving him better power vs lefties lol. 303 HR vs RHP and 165 vs LHP with like way less AB would definitely mean his card should have more power vs Lefties. But his correct numbers are 361 HR vs RHP and 107 vs LHP which means he probably should have more power vs Righties. And what do you know, he does.

And just FYI they didnt make a mistake with the first one either. His 94 card was a 1999 Veteran card. He absolutely crushed lefties that year. 15 HR in just 142 AB. Only had 30 HR vs righties in like 425 AB. Its crazy.
-
Well his veteran card is wrong right? Isn’t it based off of 1999

The lower number of AB per HR the better.
