Did pitch speeds change?

Maybe it's because I've been playing the event on All-Star. Maybe it's because the moron I played picked a major league stadium. But I just played on HoF and couldn't hit a freakin' thing. Like absolutely NO ability to read an off speed pitch because I had to swing as it left his hand to hit the fastball. Wtf is happening? I've made WS this year but that was just embarrassing

I’ve played allstar and hof games where I’ve had to swing way to early to get a hit. It’s usually the opponents McDonald’s WiFi connection

This, if someones internet connection is bad it is the ones that is fine that will suffer. because the game speed will change to match the bad connection. Sucks.
