For some reason my pci is shaking left and right like crazy when I’m not even touching my left analog stick. Same thing happens when I’m trying to locate pitches. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a way I can fix it?

Analog stick drift, sometimes you can fix it by re-syncing the controller to the PS4, but usually it means you need a new one.

Google "reset ps4 controller" for the steps. There's a soft reset and a hard reset. Try the soft first and then the hard.

This is happening to me. I just bought a brand new controller. Drop it 13 inches off my chair and now I have this problem also. It’s really annoying during pitching.
Good thing I spent an extra 8 bucks for a protection plan. I’ll go get another when I have time.
65$ for a new controller makes me vomit. -

If you're comfortable taking it apart it can sometimes be caused by dirt or dust under the stick. You could give that a go if syncing doesn't do the trick.

I’ve gone through 2 controllers this year having this issue. Now I have a protection plan because the one before that only lasted a month until it got the shakes. I’m sure this newest one with the protection plan will have no issues at all but at least I have some peace of mind knowing that if it does shake it’s going to be the geek squads problem and not mine lol

Also I watched a YouTube video on how to clean the sensor in the controller. It was not as hard as it looks. I broke the battery connector off mine being a Knucklehead, but now that I know what I did wrong on that step I’m confident I could do it successfully. Because I broke the battery I was unable to test if cleaning the sensor corrected the drift problem but it seemed like it probably would have helped because there was some dust in there

I’ve tried the reset with a couple controllers and it hasn’t worked. What’s the difference in the soft/hard reset? I was going to actually try and buy a replacement part that I found and see if I could fix it that way.
Anyone actually “clean” it and have it work? How did you do it?

Blowing air from your mouth with a lot of force into the area where the stick moves usually corrects this for a bit. This game does a number on the left stick of my controllers I just started using my current controller fresh out of the box in May or June and it’s already having this problem.

Sounds like you have stick drift. If none of the controller reset methods work, buying a new controller is perhaps your only option.
Just make sure it's a NEW controller, and NOT a used one from Gamestop. Usually the used controllers already have stick drift.
