I was considering selling my tops now cards, but I have nothing else I would want to buy with the stubs, and the completionest in me wanted all the lightning cards. I'm sure there will be an event down the road where I'm glad I have him.

I had the exact same thought process and although I don't care that much, in hindsight I would've sold the Topps guys.

Yea I completed it because I have more stubs and high end cards then I know what to do with. Mondesi is F awesome. I’m going to try JRam at third cause Sheff ain’t cutting it anymore, and Carlos looks like a mini Maddux so we will see

Haven’t used him in any online games yet but the program really doesn’t take that long. I had sold the cards I earned before the program so it cost about 160k total. 160k for Mondessi, Jram and Carlos doesn’t seem that bad.

Well I spend nothing because I kept all the Topps cards, but I could've sold all of them and made a few hundred thousand instead. Oh well.

You and me both man. He’s my favorite pitcher by far. Look at Carlos stats compared to Maddux. They are so similar and the pitch selection is so similar. Not flamethrowers by any means but buckles guys knees lol

I don't agree with how their pitch selection is similar. What makes Maddux good is his cutter that complements his sinker. But that cutter is actually his best pitch. Carrasco doesn't have that and if you think you can use that primary slider in a similar fashion, you're gonna be brutally disappointed.
