Can't hit with Tatis Jr.

All I hear about is how great this card is, but does anyone else struggle with him?

I'm not the best player but he's only hitting 0.211 online... Rollins was doing better for me before I pulled him for Tatis Jr.

before I say anything, great username. I can assure you I didn't kill your father. Second, I struggled with him for the longest time in the event, like I didn't get a hit in 25 PAs. I found that if you pull it, anywhere that isn't down the right field line, that you'll get good results

I started off terrible with him, but he's picked it up.

Though my last game I hit a P/P Line drive with him that was caught.

Next inning my opponent hits a P/P Line drive with him and it's a home run.

That's not annoying at all.

Actually that's a good point... it seems like I've been making good contact, just not translating into hits. I won't give up on him just yet.

I have the same issue. I think a few others do too. Not everyone is gonna have the same experiences with cards which is something I enjoy about DD.

I was striking out a like 40% of the time with him with no pop through 100abs. Now he's killing everything for me and is prestiged. Hang in there

He’s not my best hitter average wise but I can’t remember Ever hitting a single with him : it’s either a laser to right center perfectly splitting the shift, a jam shot wall scrapper homerun to left center, or a 470 ft light tower Moonshot directly down the line in left. I feel like he is incredibly streaky and sometimes I miss Rollins consistency and defense. Even though Tatis is diamond D Rollins is cheat code code diamond D

Swinging early is beneficial for Tatis card. I think I had 25hr and 40 K's with him. Homer or striker out, and now he is prestige for me.

He’s been one of the few I can hit with lol. I got him prestige with no problem

All I do is line out into the shift with him. I swear I’m batting .100 on perfect line drives with him and all the fly balls just die at the track

Always start new batters in the bottom of your line up and work your way up. You never know how you might do with them . I’ve lost key games due to new players
