Have you ever gotten the first overall pick?

I wasn't sure if this was possible. The highest I have gotten is round 15 pick 14.

Ok. That is kind of dumb, imo. If you are playing REALLY WELL, and deserve to go in the 1st round, then you should go in the first round!

since they started this archetype nonsense the whole idea is that you are a long shot and you go to the showcase for one last chance to be drafted. Henceforth you are a late pick

Got it. I knew that we were a longshot, I guess I never realized that that meant no first round pick.

I’ve had many characters pick #1 in round 15. Sometimes I purposely tank in the showcase to get picked lower. I get tired of being picked in the first three picks. I love the Tigers but don’t want to play with them every time. I also don’t want to pick my team. I feel like that’s cheating lol

Agreed. I always try to do good, but might try to be bad
some.Quit at the start of scout day and simulate the showcase games and you’ll get drafted in a late round near the bottom of the draft.

I did once in MLB16
but I didn't know how or what to put points in for my rtts guy, so I dropped it.
Plus I couldn't see hardly anything, as the Graphics were terrible on the PS3.
I picked it back up in 18, and been playing since.
(15 is the highest i've been able to do) -
Hopefully Franchise and RTTS will be expanded to single A and the pre-draft stuff is improved.
Performance pre-draft really does need to have more of an impact. A two-day showcase really doesn't give enough to justify the player going in the first few rounds. So there needs to be more. Problem with adding things to do before the draft is it's a lot of development work for something that's only in each RTTS career right at the start and then that's it. Hard to justify resource allocation. -
