Rookie Cards With No Sell Orders?

What's with these Rookie series cards that have no sell orders? Some of these aren't found anywhere except the community market, which makes no sense to me. Without any sell orders, they can't be purchased from the market.
The Rookie series cards in question:
- 78 Manny Machado
- 83 Bruce Sutter
- 83 Cal Ripken Jr.
- 82 Steve Bedrosian
These also have no sell orders:
- 83 PS Johnny Damon
- 84 PS Andruw Jones
- 84 Vet Alan Trammell
- 83 R Don Sutton (he can be picked up through the xp reward path, but still)
What is going on with these? Are there just not enough of them in circulation or something?

I know some of those were RS rewards that are no longer attainable so guys like Damon and Jones will probably never be on the market again because they are all locked in unfortunately. I forget where those rookie cards came from, maybe one of the earlier conquest maps?

Do you need Silver Machado and Gold Bedrosian? I'll sell them to you if I don't have them locked in for anything.

Way to much demand + the cap on the market, most of those cards got locked up by people with Trout
For example, you cannot put a gold on the market for more than 30k, so because there are buy orders at 30k, no one can put up a sell order.

I was able to sell silver Machado for [censored] near 30k when the Trout collection hit. I remember he was one of the 3 or 5 win rewards for an event if I'm not mistaken.

I just went back through, Bedrosian and Sutter I think we're both henchmen in the 2nd inning or one of those earlier ones. I also believe money_mason is right, Machado was an early event reward, I believe the same one the Felix Hernandez was in.

I'm hoping they can bring them back in new packs or in the 11th inning program, or something. It seems like a shame to just keep so few of them out there.

I would imagine at some point they do something to reintroduce some. Especially if they are scoring this forum

Machado was an event reward from the live series event (the one with PS McGriff as the main reward), so we probably won't see him again
Bedrosian, Sutter and Trammell were henchman from earlier innings (2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively....I think), odds of seeing any of those bubble up are low
Jones, Ripken, Damon and Sutton were all old replaced Pennant Race rewards. If they handle RS like they did last year, they will bring all of these back as choices towards the end of the games life span. So, some hope there!
