Just watched the steam again and man I was never a fan of BR simple because I suck at it however with the new changes I am really excited for it was wonder if anyone else in here who didn't play BR is looking at it differently now. Also to the guys who loved BR do you have any concerns?

I tried it a bunch of times, probably would play more were it not for the cost; most I got was 6 wins. Unless I plan to buy a pack, even then I think those are Standard and I never get good pulls in those compared with the normal ones

I really like the emphasis being on pitching this year, only thing that sucks is everyone can usually smack the ball around on the BR difficulty.

I love BR, always have. I'm excited about the changes too, it adds a level of depth and strategy which I think will be beneficial to those who know what they're doing.

I am just not a fan of 3 batter rule in general. I am hoping MLB will get rid of this rule after this season is over.

I've always really enjoyed BR. The new rules are certainly going to make things interesting and I honestly don't know what my draft strategy is going to be. What I really like is that they have dropped to 2 common rounds. That alone really makes the game mode more attractive IMO. I still think I want my best arm or two to be a RP, but I think you're going to see a variety of team builds, which will be a nice change from the standard drafting procedures we've all become accustomed to in the past years.

They will not get rid of it. It will probably shave off ten minutes of game time, which shortening the game is their ultimate goal. It will be interesting to see the strategies by managers this year.

If you've ever watched the Yankees in September with their 20 man bullpen you would understand how good this change is.

I watched a game once where the phils had 34 players and the other team had 36or 38 and only about 4-5 players combined didn't make it into the game, I think I watched more commercials than baseball that day.

The game gets extended because they go to commercial every time there is a change. Every major league team has a bullpen. Make the guys be ready to come in and pitch. Bring back the bullpen carts. There are other things that can be done. You have these hitters that can only hit against one hand and now you are not going to allow the other team to defend that? I think its a terrible rule. The game takes however long it takes.

You get a low diamond for 9 wins now I think? That will get a lot more of us mortals playing it. I rarely do br but see myself playing it a lot more this year.

I have always avoided it as well, but for a different reason. If there are any exploits in the game, that’s where you will see them used the most. That game mode is where anybody not playing on the “level” will gravitate towards.

It'll also help that September roster expansion is only going from 26-28 this year.
