I agree that is ridiculous. You know what you could consider doing? Send an email to theshow@playstation.sony.com and explain that you have all the live series cards including the high diamonds and that the lack of availability of a 53 overall card has become an obstacle for you to get Mantle. And with a ton of max buy orders in it will continue to stay like that for god knows how long.
Just ask them straight up to provide you with the card and slide it into your inventory. They wouldn't do that with a guy like Trout or DeGrom obviously, but I have a feeling they just might with a low useless card like this. Some of the people on their support team are very reasonable so it's worth a shot.

I just pulled him tonight. Sold for 1k lol. So I helped someone.
They need to take away the cap on the buy orders.

I was in the same boat where all I needed was Ramos. I placed an order and was like 820th in line. It only took about 4-5 days before someone sold him to me. I think the max order amount kinda works here because you can put your order in and know that your place in line is reserved. They just need to increase the frequency of commons and bronzes recently added to a team rather than just dish out FA’s non-stop.

Can’t believe how big the line for him grew though. I’ll try and rip some packs and see if I can make any type of contribution to denting that

AJ Ramos is why I’m afraid of Mays or Griffey being a flawless.... At this point of the year a lot of people have stubs and if you can’t go flawless I can see this being a situation that there are 400 one million dollar orders that will sit there for weeks... I know a lot of people have been putting stubs away for these two.

Not really concerned about Mays; but if they release Griffey as I Flawless or Ranked Seasons reward, I'm done with the game. Not just this year's version, but any version.
I know it's not going to matter to them if I stay or go; but I refuse to pay what he'll demand as a limited release card.
