This Event

Anyone else really uninterested in this event? The last one was an absolute dud, and so far the few games I've played in this one have been absolute low hit grind fests, one going 12 innings.
This feelings like RS lite. I want to play events to have fun, escape the intense grind that is RS and/or work on prestiging players. I like the short 3 inning games, or quick counts. This event, just like the last one checks none of these boxes.

The only bad thing is that it’s at Dodger stadium in the day time. I could build a fairly useable lineup from the teams available, but when you’re playing out in LA, where the ball doesn't carry and the batters eye stinks, it makes it more of a chore. I’d never play at an MLB park voluntarily.

I guess my main complaint is the park, and 6 innings. Would prefer 3 or quick counts personally.

Now I don’t mind 6 innings, it’s better than 3, I just cannot get invested in events and BR the way I can RS. Even if I try to apply myself, my overall feeling is “this is just a crappy BR/event game, it doesn’t mean anything, it doesn’t matter.” Not that I feel RS games matter in any meaningful way, either in or out of the game, but I feel like those are “real” baseball games, while the rest of the side modes, like BR and events are just some sideshow, a mini game based on the game of baseball, but not actually truly representative of the game of baseball.

Agree 100%, keep it at 3 innings or if 6, quick counts....also hate AS in a 6 inning game as at this point it’s mostly the crazies still playing, so let’s get it on HOF

Low hit? I’ve put up tons of crooked numbers so far. It’s on AS and the PCI is huge

I've played a few games thus far and I'm really enjoying it. Load up a team with cards that have prestige requirements and just try to grind wins and prestige stats.

After all the complaining about the deadball events here we go complaining about another event. This has been fun for me, lots of lineup options, prestige players and my pitcher isn’t completely gassed after facing three batters. After the deadball event I feel like I have to get in more time grinding this event because i can actually use a lot of high diamond cards I’ve had for awhile and never use on my RS squad.

I like this one, most of my games have been decent offense. No lead is safe in AS though.
