He’s been swinging lefty a couple times lately, wonder is SDS will update him as a switch hitter like they did for ji man choi, would give him some better value in the game especially since he is the cover athlete

He did it once yesterday against a positional player during a blowout, and its been forever since the last time he did it which was also during a blowout. Doubt they'll reward that, let's see him take some actual lefty bats against quality pitching first huh.

Yeah against the White Sox shortstop who threw like 70mph lol. It was a good looking swing and I'm sure he could actually swing it decent from that side of the plate, but he should prove it first and as long as his manager is not comfortable with him being a switch hitter, I don't think they'll make him a switch hitter in the game either. Ji Man Choi actually takes his at bats as a switch hitter nowadays.

My blood pressure is fine bro but thanks for your concerns lol. I was just trying to explain why they won't make him a switch hitter, that's all.

We're talking about SDS who gave Choi a diamond Topps Now that is a switch hitter 🤷🏼‍♂️

As I pointed out before, Ji Man Choi didn't do it once or twice against positional player during a blowout, like Baez. Choi is actually switch hitting now. Significant detail.

If I were Baez, I’d stick with hitting right handed. When you flirt the Mendoza line, not exactly the time and try something new

Yup, sadly he has only done it twice. 🙂 I would be down for a TN card though, but not his LS.

I think you missed the sarcasm intended there. Choi is not a switch hitter though having only 9 career PA as a RHB. I don't think either should be a switch hitter. My point was if Choi got a Topps now for it I could totally see them giving one to Baez.

Imagine going up to the plate swinging .200 thinking you should go up there left handed.

He's done it twice as far as I know and both times, it has been against a position player pitching.

Yolmer Sanchez, on the other hand, looks like the White Sox third or fourth best reliever...

    / sarcasm

Baez is actually a natural lefty and has said that he may eventually switch to being a switch hitter over the next offseason. I’d be interested in seeing this
