His swing type is extreme pull but I honestly don't know if theres a more balanced hitter in baseball. The man aims to shoot the ball to left center with his swing and to call him a pull hitter is disrespectful.

His spray chart literally covers the entire field with all power.

Go compared Didi and his spray charts. Thats a true pull hitter.

Not even mentioning the fact that Dansby Swanson is 65 fielding with 1 error in 56 games....

Any Braves fan knows that Freeman looks to hit the ball right up the middle, he hits a lot of extra base hit to left center, even when he does pull the he usually goes to right center

Speaking of defense yes Swanson is criminally underrated, but so is Freeman he won a gold glove and barely has Silver fielding seriously his glove and reactions should be higher, along with his top notch arm he should be at least gold

Also having seen him run out balls in the infield for singles, I highly doubt his speed is correct either

So here is an interesting little nugget, Freddie Freeman is one of the hardest people to defend because of his ability hit the pitch that is delivered to him i.e. if it’s a fastball down and in he’ll line it to right field or if it’s up and away he’ll line it down the left field line. What is most interesting is the fact that no other hitter is shifted on more. It’s not even close which is very strange because of his innate ability to hit a ball just about anywhere on the field. What’s even funnier is he destroys the shift and yet they still continue to implement it on him. Another fun factoid, the team that began the trend of shifts on Freddie Freeman was none other than the Phillies. And who was their manager at that time? None other than Gabe Kapler. Literally the worst manager baseball. So Freddy can thank that clown for basically put him into the hall of fame provided he doesn’t fall off a cliff over the next 7-9 years he has left for his career.

I’ve been ranting in other threads about how SDS needs to make Kyle Lewis a gold tomorrow. Just figured I’d make a joke and add the rant here as well. I have nothing against freeman or him being changed to a balanced hitter. I just can’t afford to have SDS distracted by this freeman stuff. I need them to keep their eye on what really matters here, justice for Kyle Lewis.

Bellinger won MVP after a down year and I’d argue he won because of his numbers the first 3 months of the season. Not to take anything away from how well Cody hit the first half of last season, but Freddie better get votes based off of his consistency alone. He’s been AT LEAST a top 10 overall hitter for several years now.

No love for a guy with five minutes of experience. Freeman has been a superstar for going on a decade bud. That’s literally comparing apples to oranges. Come on brother!!!

I’m sorry but I need all of their focus and attention on Kyle. Sacrifices have to be made. I’m sorry Freddie but you already have like a 90 LS. Take one for the team and stay a pull hitter a couple more weeks so SDS can focus on what really matters here, getting the AL ROY up to a gold. And then after that you’ll have my full support for a conversion to a balanced hitter.

He probably won't get a bump if he gets ROY. They'll just give him a ROY card in 21
