How low was Brooks Robinson during his event? Had to be under 20k?
I picked him up for 12,203 on April 20th.
My advice: if you wait a couple of months, they'll most likely recycle the old Ranked Awards into a mega choice pack. Once that happens, Damon & Jones should drop accordingly.
-
There could be some PS releases during playoffs and WS. Maybe just after each one. They've done it before. If you can wait that long I would.
-
There will be postseason cards and events with postseason cards in them later this year. I say mid October or beginning of November. They did this last year and everyone panicked too. Just be patient.

Yeah, they've done it all 3 years I've done DD. They'll release more PS cards.

I spent 100k on a Griffey I'll never use, but still worth it for Trout. Just go big.

The postseason collection is not worth it for trout whatsoever. Its more expensive than doing the exchanges for TA

they are sold out. nobody is going to sell them to you. use your stubs somewhere else. the buy now column has been 0 for the entire marketplace since trout came out.
i just checked the market, you can buy a lot of the postseason cards, but the price is just insane...

Just be patient, more postseason cards are coming, probably in their own programs and events.

Yes, i think that too, i won't spend 60k on a card i won't be using...
Also, you can get PostSeason Springer...i am close of getting that one. -
Not gonna lie, I needed 2 PS cards to finish trout. Picked up Mazeroski for 30k and Mathewson for 20k. Basically got both at Quicksale value. If I went buy now, I would’ve paid nearly 100k
-
Sooooooo happy I bought Jones and Damon for 6k when they first dropped.

I'm presuming TA is already done. I paid up before Topps Now met the threshold. It was definitely worth it for Trout.

The best ones to skip IMO are postseason, franco, and Prestige/HRD/Future Stars. If you don’t have prestige and aren’t far on TA 2, go HRD. If you are close on TA2, go future stars, if you are close on getting 5 prestige guys-which is easy for pitchers in this event, especially Paxton/Henke/Mo, go that route. Either way Postseason and Franco prospect collection are just stub sinks, any other route at least has semi-usable cards
-
I'm fairly close to prime, awards, and future stars. Once those are done ill need one more out of prestige/HRD/postseason/Franco, none if which are close. I think Franco is the closest, but I still need 5 cards at close to 200k.

Yea at that point your just going to have to eat some stubs. Me personally I would do the HRD set. Those cards mash, great bench bats and you get 98 Griff as well

you think its likely they release a player program postseason card? or maybe in the postseason?
SDS is notorious for making it easy to get cards toward the end of the year. I remember the one year they gave away the rare Seattle ARod card for free one Xmas. I mean, it was some kind of program but it was basically free. They did the same with Ted after people had used 5000 tickets in the ticket counter. So I could see them dropping PS cards to help after most people quit playing the game.

Trout is not worth it for all this. Can’t hit above .220. Waste of time
