Did they nerf Babe Ruth because he has been a dud for me lately.

I hit well with him today, even a couple bombs vs LHP to go along with a handful of doubles.

Ruth specifically, no, but it does feel like the tweaked hitting again.

I feel like every time someone has a bad day in the game they jump straight to "the hitting got tweaked". Take some accountability and own up to the fact you might have just had a bad day

Common sense (and the fact they have shown they collect these stats previously) would seem to suggest that they monitor hitting stats periodically across different modes and adjust sliders when things get out of whack, but I wouldn't use that as my first excuse for me having an off day or two.

Sure, but there is a difference between that and nerfing one specific player.
I have no doubt they do tweak sliders every so often, especially early in the year.

I believe you can go through hot and cold streaks with hitters. I went through a crazy hot streak with Luis Robert over the course of two days. The next time I played online, I went 0-16 with him. It is all in how well you are playing and if you see pitches to hit.
