I was just playing someone on All-Star and I swore it was on Hall of Fame. The pitches were coming faster than I've ever seen them. I was lagging a bit too in the outfield and couldn't control my pitching at all. I've never really had that issue before.

Is this a thing? Or is my internet just bad?

Batting difficulty vs CPU is not the same against online players. So pitches will be slightly faster than at whatever difficulty you normally play on.

I normally play online on All-Star and Hall of Fame, and this was ridiculously fast. Chad Green and Kyle Wright were blowing pitches past me and I couldn't even touch them.

I think I'm losing my entire mind.

Online play is wildly inconsistent for me. Its been pushing me away for about a month now. But of course i keep coming back. But pitching accuracy and pitch speed go to trash some games. Im not sure what causes it. Some games im the home team sometimes im away, seems like it doesnt matter and we are at the will of who we play and how the servers decide to be.

It’s connection. I’m having a good connection day, haven’t lost a game yet and smacking around 102mph fastballs without issue.

Normally, I can’t catch up to Hal. No rhyme nor reason. I wish every day were like this. I’d be WS in a week.

Is a thing bro, before jumping on rank seasons I always play an event game or a showdown just to make sure that’s not happening. Is a huge problem sometimes, even the pitching timeframe is different when it happens, if you face a pitcher with 97+ speeds you are toast. When I know is happening I always restart my ps4 and that solves the problem.

Restart ps4? I will adopt this for the next week and see how it goes.

Thankfully I’m not the only one who experienced this. Last event I was not even close to touching a FB. I had to take a break and work on the Ruth program I was so frustrated. I’ll try the restarting myself and see if I notice a change. Pitching this year is definitely inconsistent at times.
