Thoughts on Stage 4 bosses and requirements

Will SDS require you do own Buhner to get the Griffey? Mattingly to get Gehrig? Cepeda to get Mays? Evans to get Pedro? Catfish to get Foxx? Brock to get Pujols? Or just regular exchanges as usual?
-
Are there any other potentially big bosses other than the aforementioned? Maybe a 99 Degrom? Or do they always stick to past legends?
-
-
This is the farthest we have gone for TA's ever so no idea however i still have a feeling stage 4 is Finest. I think Griffey will get his own program much like Ruth and thats were we might see Gehrig/Mays. Or they will be part of showdown extreme.
-
My guess is stage 4 will be finest and that owning the stage 3 boss will not be a requirement, but locking them in will give you progress (+10 affinity) the same way that the ls collection gave you +10 in stage 1. I would also guess that stage 4 will be sellable.

I was wondering if everyone thought stage 4 will be able to be bought too.... I know many disagree with me but I like u can buy these

I think they will be buyable for two reasons...

It allows people to get a card without having to do all the work of exchanges and what not.
-
it’s probably more profitable. It costs more in stubs to buy the card than it does to exchange to it.
Exchanges and and showdown and whatnot are great for collectors and hardcore players. But, if you took a couple months off and are way behind, you might spend a couple stubs or cash to get the card. Also, to be honest, these players might not even really understand the exchanges. I know that I didn’t the first year I played.

So there's no point to completing all the Affinities and collecting them? I've sold off most of them. I just don't want Buhner and Dwight Evans to be like 100K each if theyre requirements towards Griffey and Pedro.
-
Pedro is in the game?

My guess is TA4 is more all time greats for teams and finest might be a card along the way. Or vice versa. There are just too many cards that haven’t come out yet with only like 3 inning programs left. And they said headliners is ending after the next one. I don’t see how they get all of the cards out any other way.
There are still probably a dozen future stars coming I’m guessing (Franco, Gore, Witt, kelenic, Pearson, etc.), a whole bunch of high end legends (Gibson, Cy Young, Bench, Gossage, Fingers, Mays, Wagner, Foxx, Gehrig, etc.), and a lot of recent greats (Pujols, Griffey, Chipper, etc.) that don’t have 99s yet. Having two big cards per team in TA4 is the best way to do that i would think.
-
These TA4 will likely be sellable. No reason to go backwards now. And Live cards are too big a risk to invest in cards for exchanges too right now. Because the ratings fluctuate so much with a shortened season (I like it though, best they’ve ever done with it).
So I’m just going to sit back and wait.
Last year I bought all the Finest cards too, and none of them ended up on my final team.
So personally, I’m not interested in Finest cards this year if that’s what they are

Pedro is in the game?
Not confirmed. Just hopeful. If Kerry Woods is good, Pedro would be filthy.

Fingers already has a card and has been a card since day 1

Right but it’s only a 96. I assumed there would be a better one coming later. Cy Young had a 96 early and I think we all assume he will have a 99 as well.

Awards, Signature, Prime and I assume legend FOTF are the highest cards a guy will get. Smoltz being the exception

I think Stage 4 will be Finest not legends.
-
I think Finest will be its own Program, it’s a way to keep selling packs with HLs coming to a close. What else would they use to keep the shop fresh after HLers?
-
Finest cards that aren’t a part of collections like they did with prospects and future stars.
-
In addition, having the community vote on each teams finest players would be great again, obviously with a pre determined group getting a card....Bieber, Tatiana, etc.
-
Wouldn't it be funny if "The Rarest Card" Honus Wagner was the reward for completing ALL of the TA's......
