Yeah. I'm debating if I want to keep my preorder players or sell them.
Chances are they'll end up like the 30 SE Diamonds from this year: Abundant in ways to eventually obtain them. Obsolete after a higher version (Sig Series) is released, and close to QS value later in the game cycle.
Not sure if it's worth fielding a team that has at least 2 Diamond players and a handful of Golds; when I probably wont play any H2H for the first few months.

I will probably sell my pre orders early this year, unless I find one of the diamonds has a swing or wind up I am very comfortable with, because of the exact reasons you stated, they will be obsolete by the 2nd inning program. I just hope I can use my DD team this year, the randomness of online play this year and the grind just to get out of the AS difficulty tier in RS pushed me from online to offline play. So here's to hoping for more fun and less frustration this year

I most likely will sell to get the most stubs possible then use those stubs to work the market. I'd assume it will be similar to 19 where there a bunch of opportunities to get those cards so the price will continue to fall throughout the year
