Created Player glitch (again)

Why did the created player I've had for 4 months all the sudden become a short white guy named Joe Random??? And also why can I no longer customize the color of his glove, arm sleeve, cleats etc....what kind of garbage is this??? every year it does this to me, last year it was they turned my player into Tony Gywnn .....anybody have any answers?

I think people have said it’s when you change equipment for some reason. It just happens sometimes.
That’s why my CAP hasn’t been touched. I know a few pieces of equipment that will make him better, but I’m scared of this happening.
Did you recently change any equipment?
