If the catcher drops the ball in foul territory, it a foul ball. If he missed it and doesnt touch it, but it ends up in fair territory, it's a fair ball.
Would probably need some video of this as your description is hard to follow.

I don't have video I friendly quit because it was a freak bug and he accepted in fact my game V this person isn't even in my game summary. (I swear I took my tabs today)
It was a pop up way behind homeplate and for whatever reason the catcher dived when he could have just easily have caught it but the runner on third proceeded to score even though it was a foul ball and it counted.

It was so much a foul ball it landed at the cages so yeah new 1 I haven't seen before.
