I don't think there's that much of a risk. I've now bought and sold these cards multiple times taking profit each time. There has to be A LOT of people that don't have any of these because of how many are for sale and how many people have hoarded. I sold a few for 30k plus the other day when for whatever reason the market was going nuts, and there was no real reason to get them.
The only risk I see is if the lightning card they release is a dud. But even then you'll likely still profit some.

Yesterday was last day of stub sale. People always buy stubs on first day and last day. Market is highest overall (exception of certain sets and cards ) during those times.

Only risk is if they flood the 8th Inning with Topps now packs. I do think they'll put out some which is why I'm hedging. I'm assuming they'll want to make it attainable for the newcomers

Yeah, unless they are in the conquest map and in other places, like the next inning tier.
Everyone and their brother is hoarding them cards thinking the same thing.
Too many of them for their prices to go nuts and I don’t think you will need all of them.
Maybe their prices spike around the time they release the award, but if you’re patient, I bet most of them end up 5k at some point.
you are going to need 30. Already confirmed in the game. You can find it in the collections. That change your perspective? I've no doubt they'll put some in conquest, but not all. I hedged by buying 5 to sell of each, so if some tank the others will increase in value.

I got a bunch that I got near qs from a prior conquest map. Not sure if I horde for ta4 (which is why I bought them all) or flip. I wouldn't be surprised if the exchanges cost 100k for the final part.

Why should they. Finest is just blown up [censored], while stage 3 were some of the best players to ever play the game; they sure the hell don't deserve a 100 thou exchange. I'll complete stage 4 for completion's sake, but they won't ever see my team.

Only 1 reason for me to think this. Because that amount is in the game. Otherwise why not cap every exchange value at 50k?
