Roster updates this year perfectly reflect the season.

It feels like for some of these updates they put pics of players on a dart board, blind fold someone and then throw darts to see who gets upgrade. Or maybe they walk down a busy street and show some 5 year olds the same pics and ask who they like better.
Seriously, does anyone know how they decide who to upgrade???

Whenever a guy has a good week. Giolito with a no no and Abreau hit like 30 Hrs this last week.

it's like Oprah. You get a diamond, you get a diamond, you get a diamond. seems like the 3 year average is gone and they are counting what they do this season for 2 years. Disappointed that average players are getting diamonds because they are having a good season on a shortened scheduled where they would not be putting up those numbers in a 162 game season.
like Blackmon goes diamond weeks ago and gets downgraded cus his average went down from like .430 to .365 and Trea Turner gets a diamond with like 4 hrs and .302 average??????/ Seager has been a lot better and he didn't go diamond???????

Positions have a lot to do with it. Plus Trea turner has had a diamond coming for about 3 years.

At this rate every LS player that started the season a silver or better will be at least an 85 diamond at some point, and many that started diamond may drop down into gold or silver. They are literally changing cards based on a few games. But I guess with this whole season pretty much being an asterisk they are just doing it to make it interesting.

I don’t know if I’m the only one, but I don’t like it. Too knee-[censored] and reactionary for a small sample size. Why should a tough week or two affect guys?
I know it’s great for those of you who are investing, but I think the level of upgrades/downgrades is a mess.

And they can’t even get the lineups right. Maybe they’re spending all their time tweaking ratings. But, for instance, they change Seth Lugo’s position from CP to RP but they don’t make him an SP even though he’s a starter for the rest of the year.

I agree with it being a mess, but that is why I made the point of this 60 game MLB season being kind of a joke as well. I am sure everything will get back to somewhat normal next year.
